The final build incorporated brushed nickel finishes, a frameless-style sliding bypass glass door with integrated handles, and a two-tiered corner shelving system for streamlined storage. The updated design omitted the originally proposed recessed niche and bench, and instead emphasized clean lines and ease of use. A brushed nickel grab bar was installed along the valve wall for stability, matching the rest of the fixture package.

The crew completed a full demolition down to the studs and subfloor, followed by installation of a non-organic cement-fiberglass backer. A custom low-threshold composite shower base was set in place, integrated with a slip-resistant floor finish. Copper supply lines were replaced with PEX, and new pressure-balanced Delta hardware was mounted. The flooring was updated to a woodgrain waterproof plank system, complementing the new shower materials and preserving the warm tone of the walls.

Five Star Bath Solutions provided a lifetime, non-prorated, and transferable warranty on all installed products, labor, fixtures, and adhesives. The installation was protected under the no-surprise policy for hidden rot or damage, with exclusions only for structural repairs. Final pricing for the Smart Choice system, including all upgrades and demolition, totaled $13,309. A cash payment option was offered, and the customer deferred the optional toilet replacement.
