Installation was completed in two days. The existing tub and surround were removed to the studs. Organic HydroBlock backer was installed behind all walls, and plumbing was updated to support a wall-mounted handheld showerhead. A sliding glass door system was mounted directly to the composite panels, and brushed chrome grab bars were placed horizontally and diagonally across the wet area. The molded bench described in the original plan was not included, nor was a footrest. Shower curtain compatibility was replaced with fixed dual glass panels.
Five Star Bath Solutions provided a fully transferable lifetime warranty, covering labor and product without exclusions. Carmin confirmed that any hidden damage discovered during demo, including subfloor or framing issues, was included in the original quote and resolved at no added cost. Final pricing, inclusive of promotional April discounts, totaled $12,914. Flexible financing options were offered with monthly payment plans around $183 pending approval.
