Customer, Dana, requested their tub be replaced with a walk-in shower after experiencing how easy it was to use a low-step shower while traveling. With safety and accessibility becoming a concern due to aging and sciatic nerve pain, the customer explained the tub was no longer used for bathing and presented a slipping risk when stepping out. The main goals were to eliminate mildew, simplify cleaning, and create a safer, modern, easy-to-maintain bathing space. Preferred features included a sliding shower door, two shelves for storage, a built-in bench, and a handheld sprayer for convenience. A single grab bar angled across the back wall was also added for additional support and stability.
