Waterproof synthetic backer board was used behind the panels to protect against moisture. All visible components—including grab bars, panels, and fixtures—were secured cleanly, with caulk lines sealed using marine-grade silicone. Plumbing was updated using Delta commercial-grade fittings. Some original tile near the sink and towel bar remains, marking partial retention of surrounding elements.
