Installation, as described by Julie, was completed with full demo to the studs, inspection of all plumbing, and rebuild using Five Star’s proprietary non-organic wall and base system. The shower base was custom-fit for the tight alcove layout with a curb-height entry. Grab bars were mounted horizontally and vertically to meet ADA standards, and the brushed nickel Delta handheld wand was installed on a standard bracket. Wall seams and base edges are sealed and finished cleanly. The adjacent wall cabinet and toilet were retained in place.

Five Star Bath Solutions provided a lifetime warranty on the wall panels, caulking, and installation labor. Brushed nickel fixtures carry a Delta-backed lifetime manufacturer warranty. While the originally discussed teak seat and glass door were not installed, all other visible upgrades align with the Smart Choice accessibility package. Veteran, senior, and cash discounts were applied, reducing the final project total to $10,909.
