The chosen design introduced large-format, marble-style composite wall panels in a soft white tone with subtle gray veining. Fixtures were updated to a matte black finish, including a handheld showerhead, fixed showerhead, and minimalist control lever. A fold-down teak bench was installed for optional seating, paired with two safety grab bars—one horizontal across the back wall and one vertically oriented near the entry. Three corner shelves were added for functional storage without visual clutter.

Chris Elms from Five Star Bath Solutions presented the Smart Choice composite package, highlighting its grout-free Sentrel surface made from virgin vinyl PVC. The wall system is coated with antimicrobial and nanoprotectant layers and installed over a waterproof, closed-cell Shower Shield backer that complies with CID code and resists rot or mold. All seams were fully silicone sealed, and selections included ADA-compliant grab bars, modern Delta fixtures, and recessed accessories designed to improve safety and usability.

Installation was completed in one to two days by Five Star Bath Solutions’ certified, in-house installers. The process included full demolition to the studs, inspection and framing repairs, PEX plumbing upgrades, and complete system assembly with new drain, backer board, panels, fixtures, bench, and door. The matte black sliding glass door was selected for smooth operation and framed with clean interior-bearing rollers for a timeless finish.
