The new system features a three-wall composite surround with a full ceiling panel in a high-contrast stone-inspired Centro finish. A new thermal-insulated white tub was retained, while the wall panels extend to the ceiling with sealed edges. Two corner shelves were added on the valve wall for functional storage. Updated chrome-finished grab bars were installed in two vertical and one horizontal orientation for accessibility. The fixtures include a square overhead rain shower and handheld wand, both in polished chrome. A standard curtain rod remains in place.
Garrett Bailey from Five Star Bath Solutions presented the company’s Centro composite wall system as a premium option with long-term performance benefits. The grout-free finish offers UV resistance, antimicrobial protection, and easy cleaning using basic vinegar solution. The backer system beneath the composite panels uses proprietary cement-based ShowerShield boards to prevent mold behind the walls and eliminate water seepage.
The installation involved full removal down to the studs, inspection of subflooring, and replacement of old wall materials. Garrett explained that installations are handled by in-house employees only, avoiding subcontractors. Their certified installers coordinate directly with the homeowner throughout the process. All new fixtures, including Delta shower systems in brushed nickel, were provided and installed by the team. Protective floor runners were laid during the remodel, and all debris was removed at the end of the job.
The project includes a lifetime warranty on product, labor, and service. The warranty is fully transferable to future homeowners. Garrett clarified that any leaks, hardware failures, or finish issues will be resolved without additional cost. As part of the promotion, the customer received a $1,200 product upgrade and a $500 referral credit, reducing the total cost of the project. Final pricing for the initial bathroom was $11,871.26. The customer intends to proceed with the second bathroom remodel pending results.
