Customer, Janet, requested a walk-in shower conversion with a focus on safety, modern style, and easy maintenance, prioritizing features to support aging in place. In this remodel, the new shower features light gray, matte-finish composite wall panels with subtle linear stone imagery, a matching low-threshold shower base, and a sliding glass door system framed in matte black. The design includes a wall-mounted teak fold-down bench, two corner shelves for storage, and a matte black grab bar placed horizontally along the back wall, with an additional matte black towel bar on the door and matching black fixtures, including the handheld showerhead and valve. The look is coordinated for a sleek, contemporary effect, and the installation preserves the existing floor tile outside the shower, providing both safety and visual refresh.
