He explained that the walls were scratch-resistant, easy to clean with vinegar and dish soap, and installed with no grout or caulk joints to maintain hygiene. Zach emphasized that the system was designed for steam shower compatibility, with ceiling panels installed at a slight angle to prevent condensation drips. Fixture backing was installed behind the panels to support future grab bar or glass enclosure installations.
Installation was led by JC, a certified trainer and regional contractor, and performed by Five Star’s in-house team. Demo included full tear-out to the studs, removal of all outdated components, plumbing replacement, and debris hauling. Protective measures were used to shield surrounding areas. If a glass enclosure were selected, the design allowed for temporary curtain use until custom glass fabrication was completed.
