Customer, Theresa, requested bathtub replacement with walk-in shower in two bathrooms to increase accessibility, simplify maintenance, and modernize appearance. Upstairs unit, shown here, required taller shower space for a mobility-challenged family member. Outdated mustard-yellow steel tub, failing reglaze, and white square tile surround were removed. New layout features clear dual-panel sliding glass enclosure with polished-chrome hardware and integrated towel-bar handle. Light marble-vein composite wall panels extend to ceiling and wrap return wall edges. Low-threshold solid shower base matches wall pattern. Functionality comes from two polished-chrome grab bars—one horizontal on the back wall, one horizontal inside the enclosure door—plus a triangular corner shelf at showerhead height and a built-in bench on the valve wall for seated washing or shaving. Multi-spray handheld showerhead on flexible hose delivers water from above while keeping fixtures chrome for maximum brightness.
