The final install replaced the tub with a low-threshold shower base and full-height composite wall panels in a solid white finish. A recessed niche was included for shampoo storage in place of corner shelves. Brushed nickel hardware was used throughout, including the Delta rain-style handheld shower system and dual-control faucet. The updated shower enclosure includes a clear glass bypass door with a wide horizontal towel bar and brushed nickel track. No grab bar was installed, and the customer’s personal shower chair was retained for continued use. The Azura Bay stone-style paneling referenced in the review was not used in the final result.

Ted McCann from Five Star Bath Solutions presented the Smart Choice remodel system featuring antimicrobial composite wall panels that mimic real stone while remaining grout-free and low maintenance. The walls were sealed with marine-grade silicone, and a seamless composite shower pan with non-skid surface and 3-inch threshold was installed to improve safety. Final shelf placement and hardware positioning were reviewed with the customer before production.

Installation followed a two-day schedule, with full demolition to the studs and mold-resistant backer board replacing drywall. The recessed niche was built into the wall panel, and plumbing lines were adapted to accommodate the new faucet height and control configuration. A brushed nickel glass enclosure was anchored and sealed for long-term durability. All work was performed by in-house licensed technicians and scheduled for completion within a four to six-week window after initial consultation.
