Customer, Pete, requested their tub be replaced with a walk-in shower to eliminate grout upkeep and simplify cleaning. Scott and Chuck favored light, low-maintenance surfaces and originally asked for a straight curtain rod, one corner shelf, a standard showerhead, and two grab bars. During final selections they shifted to a framed sliding glass door with an integrated towel/assist bar, a handheld showerhead on a hose, and three staggered corner shelves for added storage. The new walls are full-height marble-look composite panels (white with grey veining) rather than the solid white pearl first considered; grab-bar placement was consolidated into the door handle for easier reach.
