A low-threshold walk-in shower was installed using Everest-style wall panels in a high-definition white marble pattern with soft gray veining. The solid surface composite panels wrap all visible sides and the ceiling to provide a seamless, grout-free look. Three corner shelves and two grab bars were incorporated for both storage and stability. A brushed nickel curved shower rod was retained for continuity, accommodating a flexible, handheld multi-spray showerhead that supports easier reach and control.
The six-layer PVC composite wall system was selected for its antimicrobial, scratch-resistant finish and superior waterproofing. Reinforced backing was applied behind all mounting points to secure accessories without compromising the surface integrity. The wall panels are designed to resist mold and staining, offering the look of natural stone without the required upkeep of grout or tile. The remodel was supported by fully insured and bonded installers, with all labor conducted in-house.
The project included full removal of the tub, tile, and plumbing trim. Substrates were replaced, and a waterproof backing system was applied before setting the wall panels and installing accessories. Installation was completed in two days, with proper sealing and a post-installation moisture check to ensure long-term performance. Cleanup was completed on-site, with no disruption to adjacent flooring or fixtures.
