Final installation replaced the framed enclosure and old tile with grout-free wall panels featuring a marble-look composite surface in a gray-and-white finish. Shower walls were extended with a full-height composite upgrade. The new base featured a matching mosaic tile-style pan with low step-in height and integrated waterproof trim. A vertical brushed nickel grab bar was added along with two matching corner shelves for clean storage. A hand-held Delta multi-spray shower system completed the update.
Tom Seesz of Five Star Bath Solutions explained their gel-free, antimicrobial composite wall panels over a waterproof DensShield backer. The quad-lock PVC corner protection system eliminated gaps and caulking failures, and the thermal expansion sealant prevented future mold issues. All Delta plumbing components were upgraded above the trap, with new blocking installed to support grab bars and shelving. The company emphasized a single-day build using only factory-trained installers.
Installation began with full demo down to the studs. Technicians removed the old tile and plumbing fixtures, repaired wall studs as needed, and dry-fit all new wall components before final sealing. No caulk or grout was used. No dumpster was required, and debris was removed on-site the same day.
