The installation was outlined as a two-day process and included complete demolition to the studs, inspection and repair of any existing structural or water damage, and installation of a slip-resistant, low-threshold shower base. Troy explained that all plumbing would be replaced with new PEX lines, and the system would be sealed using marine-grade antimicrobial silicone.
