The Five Star Bath Solutions Representative presented the Smart Choice composite system, including Hydro Block backer board and quarter-inch PVC wall panels designed to resist moisture, mold, and mildew without grout maintenance. The selected beige stone-look finish coordinated with chrome hardware and a Delta handheld shower system. Company standards included certified in-house installers, background screening, drug testing, specialized training, and installation without subcontractors.
Installation began with removal of the original tub, tiled surround, and underlying materials down to the studs. Compromised framing or wall materials were addressed as needed before installation of the waterproof backer system, custom-fit wall panels, low-threshold shower base, matching window trim, corner shelving, fold-down seat, safety grab bars, and chrome fixtures. The ceiling remained outside the panel system, and a chrome curtain rod completed the open shower entry. The scheduled installation concluded with site cleanup and a final walkthrough.
