Customer, Schuler, requested their bathtub be replaced with a walk-in shower due to difficulty stepping over the tub and an old-style plunger drain that was no longer functional. In this remodel, the new walk-in shower features a custom-fitted composite wall system in a unique gray and blue marble pattern that extends to the ceiling, a matching non-slip shower base, and a chrome shower curtain rod for easy access. The design includes two brushed nickel grab bars—one horizontal along the back wall and one vertical by the entry—and a third vertical grab bar near the showerhead, maximizing safety and support. Two built-in corner shelves offer convenient storage, and the fixtures are all brushed nickel, including a detachable handheld showerhead and valve. The overall look is modern and accessible, coordinating with the room’s tile floor and providing a safe, comfortable solution for mobility needs.
