The customer selected a brushed stone-style panel system installed full-height to the ceiling, paired with brushed nickel finishes. Fixtures included a multi-function Delta handheld showerhead with magnetic docking and two corner-mounted solid-surface shelves. A curved shower rod completed the visual update while maintaining the curtain setup. The design preserved bath functionality while providing a modern, low-maintenance surface.
Installation involved full demolition to the studs and subfloor. The team replaced plumbing with PEX and installed new Delta pressure-balanced valves. Walls were rebuilt using a cement-fiberglass backer board, resistant to moisture and mold. A new soaking-depth acrylic tub was set in place, surrounded by the upgraded wall system and chrome components. Flooring was updated with large-format grey tile, and final trim matched seamlessly with the existing cabinetry. Mitch confirmed that moisture levels during demo were within normal range and no structural repairs were needed.
The customer received Five Star’s lifetime, non-prorated, and transferable warranty, covering panels, fixtures, adhesives, and labor. The project was covered by the no-surprise guarantee for any hidden damage. The Smart Choice package MSRP was $15,294, but with promotions and same-day incentives, the customer received the upgraded materials and warranty at the reduced performance package price of $11,134. An additional $500 was applied for a cash payment discount, with flexible financing available.
