The final installation included warm-toned marble wall panels reaching to the ceiling, paired with a brushed nickel curved curtain rod and matching Delta handheld shower system. The customer opted to retain a bathtub rather than converting to a walk-in shower. No folding bench, niche, or matte black hardware was used in the final build. The window remained in place, framed precisely with integrated wall panel returns for water protection. No shelving was installed inside the enclosure.
Installation required full demolition down to the studs. All plumbing was replaced with PEX lines, and a new standard-depth acrylic tub was installed. Cement-fiberglass backer board was secured behind the panels, and the layout was customized around the existing glass-block window. No structural issues or subfloor damage were found during the tear-out. The color palette focused on warm neutrals, balancing the updated finish with the existing flooring and surrounding tile.
Five Star Bath Solutions provides a lifetime, non-prorated, and transferable warranty that covers labor, materials, fixtures, adhesives, and caulking. Julie also reviewed the “no surprise” guarantee, which includes all necessary subfloor or stud repairs within scope. The original design plan included premium fixtures and layout options, but the customer opted for a simplified package without grab bars, bench, or upgraded finishes. The final price was confirmed at $13,172 after applied discounts, including a military incentive and product upgrade credit.
