The newly installed walk-in shower features full-height Calacatta-style composite wall panels with a realistic veining pattern. Fixtures were upgraded to polished chrome and include a dual showerhead setup—one fixed and one handheld—mounted on a vertical slide bar for adjustable positioning. Two ADA-compliant grab bars were installed for balance and support, including a horizontal rear grab bar and a vertical bar near the entrance. A fold-down teak bench was added to the side wall to provide flexible seating without impeding entry.
The system incorporates a six-layer antimicrobial polyvinyl composite surface that is grout-free, mold-resistant, and designed for easy upkeep. Panels are installed over a waterproof backer board that was sealed using high-bond adhesive and mildew-resistant silicone. This setup ensures long-term protection against water infiltration and surface degradation. Tile flooring was retained outside the shower area and protected throughout the construction process.
The remodel is backed by a fully transferable, lifetime, non-prorated warranty that covers materials, labor, and plumbing. Installation included a full tear-out, plumbing updates, reinforced blocking, and final inspection. Post-construction, a detailed walkthrough ensured customer satisfaction and proper operation of all components.
