Joey LeBlanc presented the Smart Choice package for its durability, style, and lifetime maintenance benefits. While the initial plan specified 10x20 white pearl composite panels, four shelves, a recessed niche, and a folding bench seat, the final installation used marble-veined composite wall panels with a built-in corner bench, a single grab bar, and a matte black handheld showerhead and fixtures. This configuration maintained the low-threshold design for accessibility, eliminated grout for simpler upkeep, and provided stable storage options without cluttering the shower space.
The technical package featured antimicrobial, grout-free composite wall panels installed over a waterproof backer board, with marine-grade silicone seals for a permanently watertight enclosure. The low-profile shower base offered safer entry, and all fixtures were reinforced for secure use. The matte black hardware contrasted the light panel finish, creating a modern visual update.
Installation included a full tear-out of the original tub and wall surround, plumbing updates, fitting of the new shower base and panels, fixture installation, and cleanup. The project was completed by in-house, licensed installers within two days, with all debris removed upon completion.
Five Star Bath Solutions provided a fully transferable lifetime warranty covering all components, including walls, base, fixtures, plumbing, and accessories. The materials and installation methods were selected for long-term durability and to meet the customer’s low-maintenance goals.
