Light gray composite wall panels with a stone-like finish were installed to replace the old tiled enclosure. The chosen shower fixtures include a detachable handheld showerhead mounted on a slide bar, as well as a rain shower fixture. Two corner shelves were installed to keep daily items within reach. Frameless sliding glass doors were added, diverging from the frosted option originally listed.

Installation required full demolition down to the studs, followed by inspection, wall reframing, and rebuild. The team protected flooring and adjusted wall alignment to accommodate the modern layout. Electrical and ventilation work was not part of the final execution as originally discussed, and no adjacent closet conversion was completed.

Carlson offered full support for the VA’s $6,900 veteran grant and connected the customer with a Veteran Service Officer to complete the paperwork.
