The new shower system was installed with a full-height frameless glass enclosure and marble-style flat composite panels. A low-threshold shower base replaced the existing tub, increasing accessibility. The interior features brushed nickel fixtures, including a multi-function handheld shower, and is fitted with two safety grab bars: one horizontal and one vertical. A fold-down teak bench was added on the control wall. Corner shelving and a recessed storage niche provide built-in organizational features. Surrounding tile and wallboard were replaced, with new trim integrated into the updated build.
Alaina introduced the company’s proprietary non-porous composite wall material, which offers a grout-free finish resistant to mold and mildew without using microban additives. She reviewed design rendering tools and outlined all layout options, including safety upgrades and accessibility customization. Alaina also confirmed the flexibility of sizing and materials based on homeowner preference and guided the customer through finishes, plumbing relocation options, and final configuration.
Installation was projected to begin in six to eight weeks, with a faster option available for standard white materials. Alaina detailed the full scope of service, including tear-out, subfloor and framing checks, new sheetrock and plumbing, and full trim finishing. Flooring was optional and could be completed by Five Star or a contractor of the homeowner’s choosing. Customers were discouraged from attempting demolition to prevent potential insulation or subfloor damage.
