Customer, Iryna, asked that the builder-grade tub be replaced with a more open walk-in shower to make the small bathroom feel larger and easier to clean. In the completed two-day installation, the tub alcove is now finished with White Pearl marble-look Smart Choice composite wall panels that reach the ceiling and frame the existing window. A matching low-threshold base replaces the old apron, while a straight, oil-rubbed-bronze curtain rod spans the opening—letting a standard shower curtain provide splash protection without the bulk or cost of a glass door. Inside, three triangular corner shelves sit on the control wall for storage. A single matte-black handheld showerhead with coordinating valve trim completes the design; no bench or additional grab bars were added, keeping the layout simple, bright, and easy to maintain.
