Representative Tabitha Lambert introduced the Smart Choice package, a grout-free composite wall system with antimicrobial protection. While bronze fixtures were initially discussed, the completed remodel features polished chrome finishes throughout, including grab bars, showerhead, and framing. A glass bypass door system encloses the area, and the corner bench provides seated safety. Wall-mounted handheld showerhead and corner shelving were installed for convenience, though no recessed niches were included.
Installation was completed by Five Star Bath Solutions’ in-house team, who handled full demolition to the studs, assessed underlying materials, and replaced plumbing from the foundation up. Shower shield backer board was used in place of cement board for long-term waterproof protection. The remodel was executed in three days—two days for the shower conversion and one for the lavatory, as originally scheduled.
The Smart Choice system includes a lifetime transferable warranty covering panels, bench, fixtures, backer board, and sealing. Marine-grade silicone was used to avoid routine maintenance. Flexible scheduling, coordination with a preferred cabinet builder, and a return design visit were also extended.
