Tabitha Lambert, the Five Star Bath Solutions representative, guided material and design selections using a 3D visualization tool and curated samples. Four package tiers were presented—Standard (fiberglass, 3-year warranty), Performance (acrylic, 10-year warranty), Smart Choice (grout-free composite, lifetime warranty), and Premium (natural stone, lifetime warranty). The homeowner selected the Smart Choice package for its durability, antimicrobial grout-free panels, and fully transferable lifetime warranty. The shower shield backer board was highlighted as an extra-robust moisture barrier to protect underlying structures.

Installation began with the tub/shower combo, replacing the old cast-iron tub with a new acrylic model and matching surround. Built-in molded corner shelves and an integrated soap ledge replaced loose shelving for a streamlined look, while brushed nickel hardware matched existing bath accents. The second bathroom received six-layer Calacatta-style composite panels, solid DensShield backer, quad-lock corner protection, and a Delta commercial-grade handheld shower system. A frameless textured glass door mounted on a half-wall allowed corner entry without visible grab bars or fold-down seating. Floors in both spaces were updated to waterproof wood-look plank.

Project scheduling allotted two to three days for the tub/shower combo and one to two days for the walk-in shower. Crews documented existing conditions, protected surfaces, demoed to studs, repaired framing, installed new plumbing fixtures, backer board, wall panels, surrounds, and glass door, then completed thorough cleanup without requiring a dumpster.
